Blow trumpets and beat drums, the Frenchies from Tapage Nocturne arrive in Madrid. Well known by Lyon’s people, their hometown, the association has been moving the city’s nightlife for over 5 years and has almost 200 events behind it where it hosts artists like DVS1, Speedy J, Dave Clarke, Dax J or I Hate Models.
For his next season, one objective: to go “outside the walls” by exporting it’s party vision to Paris and Madrid. A vision marked by a certain artistic requirement and nights without complexes. For this first shot in the Spanish capital, we’ll meet you on June 14th in the hall of El Sol with the head of the collective coming especially for the occasion, Jibis.

■ Jibis [Jibis Records, Tapage Nocturne] – FR
Composer and DJ for ten years, Jibis is now a valued artist of Lyon’s stage and Tapage Nocturne’s organization.
Huge music enthusiast, Jibis gains from every experience such as his studio collaboration with the parisian conductor Jean-François Gassot or even his DV1’s residency, an iconic place of Lyon’s techno events. He played the last track of this club history, a night of June 2016.
Playing with several decks, he creates his own «edit» and «loop», mixing rhythm and deep line, alternating power and lightness. He delivers us a show between Techno, House and Acid. A harmony that he looks for every performance.
About the production, he finds himself progressing freely. In 2017, his title «A Tribute to Electrochoc», a homage to the book wrote by Laurent Garnier, finds a good succes. The opportunity for him to launch his eponymous label «Jibis Records», a new way of telling a story in a musical form. True freedom for the artist, often accompanied by images and videos.
The same year, he works with the french label «Blue Night Jungle», in vinyl format, he collaborates with the Dudmode. We can also mention his previous releases on Bonzai Records, Italo Business, Nashton Records …
Also, in a more deep and personal music, he is known as « Sanjib » and « SJ », under which you can discover an other part of his personality.

Que tocan las trompetas y los tambores, los Frenchies de Tapage Nocturne llegan a Madrid. Conocida por la gente de Lyon, su ciudad natal, la asociación ha estado moviendo la vida nocturna de la ciudad durante más de 5 años y tiene casi 200 eventos detrás de ella donde acoge a artistas como DVS1, Speedy J, Dave Clarke, Dax J o I Hate Models.
Para su próxima temporada, un objetivo: salir « fuera de las paredes » exportando su visión de partido a París y Madrid. Una visión marcada por una cierta exigencia artística y noches sin complejos. Para esta primera toma en la capital española, nos encontraremos el 14 de junio en la sala de El Sol con el jefe del colectivo viniendo especialmente para la ocasión, Jibis.

Gran entusiasta de la música, Jibis se beneficia de todas las experiencias, como su colaboración en el estudio con el director de orquesta parisino Jean-François Gassot o incluso su residencia en DV1, un lugar emblemático de los eventos tecno de Lyon. Jugó el último tema de l’historia de este club, una noche de junio de 2016.
Jugando con varias barajas, crea su propia « edición » y « loop », mezclando ritmo y línea profunda, alternando potencia y ligereza. Nos entrega un espectáculo entre Techno, House y Acid. Una armonía que busca en cada actuación.
En cuanto a la producción, se encuentra progresando libremente. En 2017, su título « Homenaje a Electrochoc », un homenaje al libro escrito por Laurent Garnier, encuentra un buen éxito. La oportunidad para él de lanzar su sello homónimo « Jibis Records », una nueva forma de contar una historia de forma musical. Verdadera libertad para el artista, a menudo acompañada de imágenes y vídeos.
El mismo año, trabaja con el sello francés « Blue Night Jungle », en formato vinilo, colabora con el Dudmode. También podemos mencionar sus anteriores ediciones en Bonzai Records, Italo Business, Nashton Records…
También, en una música más profunda y personal, se le conoce como « Sanjib » y « SJ », bajo los cuales se puede descubrir otra parte de su personalidad.
